Carriage Bolts

According to the size of the head, carriage screws can be divided into large round head carriage bolts (corresponding to GB/T14 and DIN603) and small round head carriage bolts (corresponding to GB/T12-85). Carriage bolt, a kind of fastener consisting of head and screw (cylinder with external thread), shall be matched with nut to fasten and connect two parts with through hole.

Carriage bolt refers to round head square neck screw

Generally speaking, a screw is used to connect two objects, usually through a smooth hole, and needs to be used together with a nut. A single screw does not work as a connection. Tools generally use wrenches. The head is mostly hexagonal and generally large. The carriage bolts shall be used in the groove. The square neck is stuck in the groove during installation, which can prevent the bolt from rotating. The carriage bolts can move in parallel in the groove. Since the head of the carriage bolt is round and there is no design of available power tools such as cross grooves or hexagonal sockets, it can also play a role in anti-theft in the actual connection process.
