Template design of manufacturer
The main formworks of continuous dies include punch fixing plates, pressing plates, concave formworks, etc. According to the accuracy of stamping products, production quantity, processing equipment and methods of dies, and maintenance methods of dies, their structural design can be divided into the following three types: (1) block type, (2) yoke type, and (3) insert type.
1. Integral type
The monolithic formwork is also called the integrated construction modeling, and its processing shape needs to be closed. The monolithic template is mainly used for the mold with simple structure or low precision. Its processing method is mainly cutting (no heat treatment is required). The template with heat treatment needs to be processed by wire cutting or electric discharge machining and grinding. Where the formwork size is long (continuous mold), two or more pieces will be used together.
2. Yoke type
The central part of the yoke type template is processed into a concave groove to assemble block products. The structure is in accordance with the application requirements, and the concave groove part can be formed by other templates. The yoke type formwork structure has the advantages of easy groove processing, adjustable groove width, and good processing accuracy. However, low rigidity is its disadvantage.
