Today, the small editor of the die manufacturer will talk about the stamping die. In the working process of stamping dies, they must withstand the impact, vibration, friction, pressure and tension, twisting and torsion and other loads, and even must work at a higher temperature (such as cold extrusion). Fatigue, fracture, deformation, etc. Therefore, the raw material requirements of parts in the work of grinding tools are higher than those of ordinary parts.
Due to the different working standards of various stamping dies, there are certain differences in the requirements for raw materials of parts in the work of grinding tools.
1. Regulations on raw materials of cold stamping die
For cold stamping abrasives of thin metal plates, the parts used in the work must have high wear resistance and strength. In addition to avoiding abrasive cracking or cracking, cold stamping of thick steel plates also requires high wear resistance and compressive strength. Yield limit fragmentation also requires high fracture resistance, high tensile strength and ductility.
2. Regulations on raw materials of deep drawing die
It is stipulated that the raw materials of the parts when the abrasive tools are working have excellent adhesion resistance (anti seizure), high wear resistance and strength, certain ductility, good drilling production and processing characteristics, and deformation during tempering. Small.
3. Raw material regulations of cold extrusion die
The parts of the specified abrasive tools have high compressive strength, strength and high wear resistance. In order to prevent impact cracking, certain ductility is also required. Because it will cause a lot of temperature rise in the extrusion process, it should also have a certain high temperature fatigue resistance and thermal forcing.
Types and characteristics of stamping die materials
The production materials of stamping die include stainless steel plate, hard alloy tools, steel bonded hard alloy tools, zinc base alloy, low melting point alloy, aluminum bronze and fiber materials. At this stage, most of the raw materials used to produce stamping dies are stainless steel plates. The common types of ingredients and raw materials used in the work of grinding tools are: carbon tool steel, low alloy structural steel, high carbon steel, high chromium or medium chromium alloy steel, medium carbon carbon steel, front steel, conventional steel and its carbide cutting tools, steel bonded carbide tools.
1. Carbon tool steel
Carbon tool steels used in grinding tools are T8A, T10A, etc. Its advantages are good processing performance and low price. However, the cutting performance and impact force are poor, the quenching and tempering treatment deforms, and the bearing capacity is low.
2. Low alloy structural steel
Low alloy structural steel is basically a suitable aluminum alloy element added to carbon tool steel. Compared with carbon tool steel, it reduces the tendency of heat treatment deformation and cracking, improves the cutting performance of the steel, and has good wear resistance. The high alloy steels used to produce grinding tools include CrWMn, 9Mn2V, 7CrSiMnMoV (No. CH-1), 6CrNiSiMnMoV (No. GD), etc.
3. High carbon steel and high chromium alloy steel
Common high carbon steel and high chromium alloy steel are Cr12 and Cr12MoV, Cr12Mo1V1 (No. D2). They have good cutting performance, hardening force and wear resistance. The bearing capacity is second only to steel. However, the martensite shrinkage is more severe. Tension (radial tension, axial tension) changes the forging to reduce the inhomogeneity of martensite and improve the performance index.
